Sudala Kiojai, 31, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

A visitation will be held from 5-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Stevens Memorial Chapel (607 28th St., Ames, IA 50010). Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Stevens Memorial Chapel, burial will take place in the Ames Municipal Cemetery following services.

Sudala was born on August 31, 1984 at Mary Greely Hospital in Ames, Iowa. Sudala was the son of Kheung and On (Vanhkham) Kiojai. Sudala grew up and received his education in Ames and spent some time at the DMACC Culinary school of arts. He worked at Mary Greely as a cook for 13 years before moving to Dallas, Texas with his brothers.

Sudala enjoyed cooking, playing poker, watching sports, car shows, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. While growing up he always tried his best to make people smile and have a good time.

Sudala is survived by his parents: Kheung and On Kiojai of Ames, Iowa, brothers: Sengjohn and Sensak Kiojai of Dallas, Texas, and Khamsai Kiojai of Ames, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Bounak, his grandparents Khio Vanhkham & Nam Bounphanh and Wahn & Beunmee Kiojai.
