Mrs. Hattie Lantz services Thursday

Mrs. Hattie Ona Lantz, 78, 2225 Donald St., died Monday morning at Mary Greeley Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Collegiate Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. John G. Davies and Paul R. Lindholm officiating. Burial will be in the Iowa State University Cemetery.

Mrs. Lantz was born April 5, 1894, at Farmington, Ma. and she married Harvey Lantz, April 24, 1919, in Walt Hill, Neb. They came to Ames the same year. Mrs. Lantz was Collegiant Prebyterian ornaist for 42 years, retiring as organist emeritus in 1967. She was a member of Chapter HN of PEO, Chapter O of TTT, the Tuesday Club, Faculty Women's Club and American Guild of Organists. She was also patroness of Sigma Alpha Iota.

Survivors include two sons, Harvey, Omaha, Neb. and David, Milwaukee, Wis., a daughter, Mrs. Judith Little, East Lansing, Mich. and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958 and by two sisters.

Friends may call at Adams Funeral Home Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

A memorial has been established for the chapel fund at Mary Greeley Hospital. Gifts may be left at the First National Bank.
