Roy Perry, 74, Colo Is Dead

Roy Perry, 74, Colo, died at the Story County Hospital at about 8:30 a.m. yesterday. He had been in failing health for some time.

Mr. Perry, a retired farmer was a resident of the Colo Community all of his life.

He is survived by by his wife, Carrie; two sons, Kenneth of Cedar Rapids and Marvin of Osceiola; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Art of Colo and William of Wilson, Wis.; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Tevebaugh and Mrs. Myrtle Sanders, Des Moines and Mrs. Mattie Kleinschmidt, Nevada.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist Church, Colo. The Rev. Paul Hasel will officiate. Burial will be in the Colo Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the family home in Colo from 9:30 a.m. Sunday until time of the funeral. The Brouhard Funeral Home, Zearing, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
