R.C. Clobridge dead at 75

Roy C. Clobridge, 75, 605 Stanton Ave., died Thursday at Mary Greeley Hospital.

He was born Feb. 23, 1890, in Kansas, and married Sylvia A. Hewitt, Sept. 1, 1913 at Council Bluffs, Ia.

He has been a resident of Ames since 1922.

Mr. Clobridge was employed in the Inspection Department of the Iowa State Highway Commission here until his retirement in 1960.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Collegiate Methodist Church.

Mr. Clobridge is survived by his wife, Sylvia; a son, Stanley R., Houston, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. J. Donald Larson, 2315 Storm St.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from Stevens Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Wayne Bartuff, Collegiate Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Story County Memorial Gardens.

A memorial fund has been established by the family. Contributions for the Cancer Fund may be left with First National Bank, Ames.
