Services for Story City man

Irvin Jensen, 61, Story City, died Friday at the Story City Memorial Hospital. He had bee in ill health for the past 11 years.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Grace United Methodist Church in Story City with the Rev. Paul Beckman officiating. Burial will be in Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Until 1943 he worked with his father in the masonry business. He then became employed with the Atomic Energy Commission in Ames until ill health forced him to retire in 1966.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son Michael Lynn, Story City; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Miller, Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mickey Hockenberry, Des Moines and a brother, Elmer Jensen, Story City.

The Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City is in charge of funeral arrangements.
