Mrs. K. Page funeral held
Funeral services for Mrs. Keith (Helen) Page were held from the Ryan Funeral Home, Monday, November 5, 1973 at 1:30 p.m. Dr. Calvin Frence of Des Moines, a friend of the family, was in charge and Elder Earnie Myers assisted.
Mrs. Robert Burcham, organist, assisted soloist, Craig Ramsey, as he sang, "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "There's An Ols Old Path." Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Dorsey Bohlman, Harold Faust, Robert Furland, Wallace Grover, Dr. G. C. Smalldridge, A. William Smith, Howard E. Thomas, and William Tipton.
Helen Arlene Furland was born on September 17, 1916 on a ram in Marshall County, near Green Mountain, the daughter of George W. and Lois McCoy Furland and passed away on November 2, 1973. She was graduated from West Waterloo High School and was a member of Daughters of American Revolution, was baptized and confirmed a member of the reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
On November 20, 1939 she was united in marriage to Keith LaVerne Page sho survives her. Other survivors are a son, Phillip George Page; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Aaron Page; a daughter-in-law, Paula, and her mother, Mrs. Lois Furland, all of Nevada; a sister, Mrs. Howard (Margaret) Thomas of Marshalltown; a foster sister, Mrs. Ole (Anna) Thompson of South Gate, California; tow nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her father in 1921, and a brother who died in infancy.
She was a victim of multiple sclerosis and had been incapacitated for many years in a wheel chair and bedfast.
