Leonard A. Lampe
Nov. 18, 1930 to May 5, 1991Leonard A. Lampe, 60, of Nevada died of cancer at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
He was born Nov. 14, 1930, in Bancroft to Bernard and Ella (Ahrendsen) Lampe. He graduated fro the St. John's High School in Bancroft in 1948. He married Gloragene A. Koppen on June 22, 1950, in Bancroft. The moved to Hubbard in 1963 and to Nevada in 1975. He was a mechanic for Case International in Nevada ans was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada.
Survivors include his wife, Gloragene of Nevada; one son, Bruce of Nevada; three daughters, Linda Eilders of Green Mountain, Joyce Kix of Hubbard and Doris Partridge of Nevada; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Harold of Burt and Gene of Bancroft; and one sister, Ethel Steven of Ionia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers, Perry and Arnold.
Memorial services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Lutheran Church with Pastor Forrest Chaffee officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery.
