LLOYD E. McGEE

Lloyd E. McGee, 94, of North Grand Care Center, Ames, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 1985, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

He was born March 21, 1899 at Paradise, Mo.

He was a long time resident of Nevada.

Mr. McGee was in maintenance at Iowa Sanitarium and later was self employed in saw sharpening and bicycle repair in Nevada.

He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He served in the military.

Survivors include his wife, Laura, of North Grand Care Center, Ames; one brother, Everett, of Jerome, Mo.; three sisters, Hallie McGee of Smithville, Mo., Pearl Hackworth of Kansas City, Kan. and Mabel Crawford of Bloomfield, Ia., nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, at Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with Pastor Norman Haas officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
