Ramah G. Pratt

Ramah G. Pratt, 87, of Nevada died on Friday, January 21, 2005 at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada. Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 26 at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada with Pastor David Burling officiating. Burial followed in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Ramah was born on July 6, 1917 in Green City, Missouri to Benjamin and Belva (Price) Deeds. She married Elden Pratt on July 15, 1933 in Green City, Missouri. Ramah owned Pratt Sanitation Ind. until her retirement in January of 1992. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nevada and the Long Term Care Red Hat Club. Ramah loved being with her family and enjoyed reading. She loved her cat, listening to music and was an avid TV watcher.

Ramah is survived by 2 sons, Harold (Donna) Pratt of Nevada and Charles (Jackie) Pratt of Moses Lake, Washington; a sister, Thelma Hicks (Darvin) of Nevada; 9 grandchildren, Elaine, Dennis, Doug, Lynette, Robin, Chris, Jamie, Penny and Tammy; numerous great grandchildren, and 7 nieces and nephews.

Ramah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elden on July 26, 1990, a twin brother, and 2 grandsons.

A memorial fund has been established. Chet Ryan Mortuary was entrusted with the arrangements.
