Elden L. Pratt
Sept. 22, 1910 to July 26, 1990

Elden L. Pratt, 79, of Nevada died of congestive heart failure July 26 at Story County Hospital.

He was born in Green City, Mo., to Auther M. and Bertha Pratt and married Ramah G. Deeds on July 15, 1933, in Green City. He was owner-operator of Pratt Sanitation Service in Nevada for 33 years and a member of Nevada First United Methodist Church and Nevada Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles of Eldora and Harold of Nevada; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harvey of Kansas City, Mo.; and one sister, Gladys Boehner of Chillicothe, Mo.

Visitation was held July 29 at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. Services were July 30 at Chet Ryan Mortuary with the Rev. William Ballard officiating. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery.
