Mrs. Walter (Elma) Thomas, 60, passed away last night at her home, southwest of Nevada, following an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Thomas was born June 20, 1889, in Marshall county, the daughter of William and Arminda Davis.

Funeral services will be held 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Nevada Methodist church with the Rev. F. A. Smith in charge. Interment will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, Walter; two sons, Marion and Rae, and one daughter, Mrs. Mae Scott. Six grandchildren also survive.

The body will lie in state at the Morfoot Funeral home until time of services.
