Sudden death of Mrs. Luke Davis

Heart Failure takes woman without warning yesterday

The funeral of Mrs Luke Davis whose sudden death occurred Tuesday afternoon 2 p.m. from the late home southeast of town, Rev. Williams of Christian Church of this city conducting services. Mrs. Davis death was due to heard disease. She was apparently in her usual health in the morning and about 10 went into the yard to feed the chickens and shortly after was found by a member of the family lying on the ground in an unconscious state. She was carried into the house and lived about 3 hours after but never regained consciousness. She was 74 years of age.
