W. E. NEW

W. E. New, 73, died at his home at 1212 Fourth street, Nevada, Friday afternoon, at 4:00, as a result of a heart attack.

William E. New was born near Marlborough, England, July 25, 1862, and departed this life at his home in Nevada, Iowa, Jan 17, 1936, aged 73 years, 5 months and 23 days.

He with his parents immigrated from England in 1864 and settled at Oneida, in Knox county, Ill., residing there until he reached young manhood when the family moved to Weston, Ill.

He was united in marriage to Flora B. Markland of Weston, Ill., February 15, 1891. To this union three children were born. They are Harry E. of near Nevada and twins, Clarence R. and Mrs. D. T. Swanson, both living near Fernald.

Besides his immediate family he leaves one sister, Mrs. Chas. Morton of Pontiac, Ill. Also three grandchildren, Horace, Irene and Willis New.
