SIVRIE KINSEY STENSLAND

Sivrie Kinsey Stensland, 89, of Nevada died Wednesday morning at the Story County Hospital. She had been a resident of Nevada her entire lifetime.

Born January 28, 1884 to Bertha and Ole Edwinson she was a member of of Memorial Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Services will be held Friday from the Memorial Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Harry Myklebust officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. Friends should call at the Ryan Funeral Home until noon Friday.

She is survived by on daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kenneth Kinsey; four step-daughters, Mrs. Herma Beach of Nevada, Mrs. Joyce Smith of Nevada, Mrs. Nolan Ostrem of Ames and Mrs. Hazel Beach of Roland; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Stensland was preceded in death by her parents, husband Delbert Kinsey who was a victim of World War I and husband Knut Stensland who died in 1967; one son Kenneth, who died in 1968 and by 10 sisters and 2 brothers.

A memorial fund has been established.
