Jones Funeral Held Thursday Afternoon

The funeral of Mrs. Frank Jones, who died Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Belcher Second and K avenue, was held Thursday afternoon at the Evangelical church by Rev. Wackerbarth, assisted by Rev. Pickford.

A regrettable mistake was made in the announcement of the funeral of Mrs. Jones, when it was stated that the service was to be held Friday afternoon, when in fact the services were Thursday afternoon.

Lois Louise Finch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Finch was born in Nevada, Iowa, June 8, 1889, and died in Nevada, Nov. 13, 1928 aged 19 years, 5 months and 5 days.

She was married in Nevada to B. F. Jones on Jan. 18, 1906. To this union was born six children, four of whom with her husband survive her death. The names of the surviving children are Edward B., Arthur, Eloise and Wanda. A son Paul, and an infant child preceded her in death a number of years since.

She is survived by three sisters and two half-brothers.

Her health began to fail a number of years ago, but her final sickness was of three weeks duration and was accompanied with much suffering toward the close of her life. During her last illness she said she lived Jesus her Lord and Saviour and was not afraid for the future before her.

The sympathy of many friends will be extended to the now bereft husband and children in the sad loss they have sustained in the death of wife and mother.

The out of town relatives in attendance at the services were: Mrs. Fannie Haynes of Boone, Leo Jones of Des Moines, Bessie Sullivan of Chicago, Nettie Cage of Los Angeles, Calif., Della Pickett of Des Moines, Flora Cooper of Estherville, Will Finch of Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Kimball of Boone and Harry Belcher of Nevada.
