Harvey Walker Stone, son of Lafayette W. and Edith Stone, was born March 14, 1901 at Maxwell, Iowa. He moved to Nevada, Iowa. He moved to Nevada, Iowa in his early youth and remained there until after his marriage to Ruth Gookin November 25, 1925. The major portion of his life was spent in Chicago where he was employed by the R. H. Donnelley Corporation. After a two month illness at Baylor University hospital, Dallas, Texas, Harve Stone passed from this life into the joy of the Father, on December 15, 1953.

He is survived by his wife Ruth, a daughter, Marjorie, two brothers, Carl E. Stone, Nevada, Iowa, Jesse R. Stone, La Crescenta, California, and a sister, Mildred, Mrs. Lee W. Cook, Nevada, Iowa. He was a member of the Nevada Christian church and of the Masonic Lodge, Nevada.

The memory of Harve Stone shall long remind us of his humble friendliness and his sincere concern for others.
