LOUISE SUTHERLAND

Louise Sutherland, 71, of West Side Apts., Colo, died Monday, Dec. 17, 1984, as a result of an auto accident south of Nevada on Hwy. S-14.

Helen Louise Merrill was born at Albia, Ia., Oct. 13, 1913, to Howard Manford and Viva Spann Merrill.

She was educated at Oskaloosa, Ia., and was married to Paul Everette Sutherland there March 17, 1934.

They resided in Oskaloosa until 1949 when they moved to Kelley. They had resided in Nevada and Colo since 1954.

Mrs. Sutherland was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Richard Sutherland of Plattsmouth, Neb.; a daughter, Donna (Mrs. Ray) Stoeffler of Nevada; three sisters, Alberta Garrett of Mason City, Ia., Viola Lobberecht of Eddyville, Ia., and Darlene Reed of New Sharon, Ia.; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Howard Victor, who died in infancy; a daughter, Joice Miller; a grandson, and two sisters, Lora Patton and Dorothy Harness.

Ryan Funeral Home of Nevada is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were pending at press time. Friends may call Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada for place and time of the services.

Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.
