George Lykins* Died Tuesday

Clyde Herschell Lykins, 79, Nevada died Tuesday at 8:10 p.m. at the Story County Hospital in Nevada where he had been a patient for the past three days.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in Nevada.

Born Feb. 8, 1851 in Denver, Mo. the son of John and Nancy Lykins, he lived in Nevada for the past 18 years.

He was united in marriage to Emer Bront on Oct. 20, 1904 at Blue Earth, Minn. To this union were born three sons and one daughter.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Lloyd of Nevada, Stanley of Story City, Kenneth of Waterloo; on daughter, Mrs. Mildren Williams of Nevada; three brothers Ganum of Bethany, Mo., Lloyd of Atchison, Kans., Daneth of Albany, Mo. and one sister, Mrs. Reva McNeese of Harlington, Mo.
