MRS. NORA SKYLES VICTIM OF STROKE

Mrs. Nora Skyles, 68, wife of F. W. Skyles, died at her home, 1222 Douglas avenue at 6 p. m. Wednesday, following a stroke suffered at 2 p. m. She apparently had been in normal health until she was stricken.

Mr. and Mrs. Skyles have resided in Ames and on their farm east of the city, for many years. She was born in Indiana.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Mary Bidwell of Tama; Mrs. H. H. Mattingly of Ames; Mrs. A. W. Smith of Kelleher, Minn.; Ira Davis of Ames, Elwood Davis living southeast of Ames, and J. W. Davis, living north of Ames.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. from the Adams chapel, with the Rev. R. B. Davison, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
