O. L. DUNKELBARGER

O. L. Dunkelbarger, 91, died at his home at Nevada Thursday afternoon.

Orra L. Dunkelbarger was born at Harrisburg, Pa., son of Nathan and Mary Valentine Dunkelbarger, May 23, 1851. When a small child he came with his parents to Henry county, Illinois. There he attended school and grew to manhood. It was in 1875 that he came to Story county with other members of the family and here had been the family home since.

He was married September 19, 1881, to Miss Nettie Briggs, one of the pioneer families of the county. Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Dunkelbarger, they being Nettie, now Mrs. Louis Hill, who had long made a home for the father and son, Wyatt B. Dunkelbarger, now in the east.

O. L. Dunkelbarger was one of the factors in the building up of the community with which he became identified over 65 years ago.
