MRS. COURTNEY HEMSTOCK

Services for Mrs. Courtney S. Hemstock, 87, of 2343 E. Grand Ave., who died Tuesday at Americana Nursing Center of complications following a stroke, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Nevada Cemetery in Nevada.

Born in Story County, Mrs. Hemstock lived in Nevada before moving to Des Moines 48 years ago. She was a charter member of the Highland Park Garden Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Hemstock of Des Moines and Mrs. Elouise Jarvill of Pinellas Park, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Mary H. Barker of Nevada.
