C. S. Christy died Sunday

Carl S. Christy, 70, Nevada, died Dec. 1 at Mary Greeley Hospital after an illness of five months.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. rom the United Methodist Church in Nevada with the Rev. Azel Smith officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Born in Champaign Co., Ill., he had been a resident of Story County for 60 years. He was a farmer.

Mr. Christy was a member of the United Methodist Church in Nevada and the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie; his mother Edna Christy, a resident of Oak Park Manor in Nevada; a son, Bill D. Christy of Colo and five grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, David K. Christy of Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif.

He was precede in death by a son and his father.
