MRS. ED JENSEN
Mrs Caroline Wastun Jenson was born October 10, 1867, at Marengo, Iowa the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Tuttle, and died at her home in Story City, September 21, 1941, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 11 days. She was four years old when, with her parents, she moved to a farm four miles south of Roland, where she spent her childhood days.
Mrs. Jensen was firth united in marriage to Elling Wastun at Roland, Iowa, in March 1885. Five children were born to this union, four of which survive their mother. George Wastun died in 1918, and Mr. Wastun preceded her in death twenty years ago.
She was again married in 1925 to E. A. Jensen of Story City, and he passed away in 1935.
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Jensen at the Grace Evangelical church at Story City on Thursday last week, with burial in the Story City cemetery.
Pall bearers were Adrian, Vern, Everette and Burdette Brakke, grandsons, from Blue Earth, Minn., and Hubert and Arnold Tuttle, grandnephews, from Blue Earth.
Mrs. Jensen is survived by three sons, Harry Wastun of Story City; Elmer Westun of Dakota City, and Andrew Wastun of Eddyville, Nebr., and one daughter, Mrs. J. B. Brakke (Ada) of Blue Earth. Also twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and two brothers, Joe and Abe Tuttle of Blue Earth, Minn.
