Gene Davis, 16, Story City, Dies

STORY CITY-Gene Francis Davis, 16, a sophomore at Story City High School, died Thursday at 4:30 p. m. from a heart condition. He had been in Story City Hospital five days.

Gene lived on a farm in Harrison Township, Boone County, northwest of Story City.

He was born in Boone. He lived in and around Story City all his life.

Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Grace EUB Church here with the Rev. W. D. Winter in charge. Burial will be in Story City Cemetery.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Davis, two sisters, Lorraine and Kathleen; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Erickson, Boone; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Davis, Boone.
