OBITUARY
EDNA NORRIS SNYDER
The funeral of the late Edna Norris Snyder was conducted Thursday afternoon from the Methodist church by Rev. Hardaway. Her death, which occurred on Tuesday morning was the result of nervous prostration, which was itself induced by appendicitis, and it followed a critical illness of more than two months.
Edna W. Norris was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Norris of this city, and she was born at Colo, Iowa, October 18, 1886. She died at Nevada, Iowa, January 28, 1913, aged 26 years, 3 months adn 10 days. Her girlhood and youth were spent in Nevada, and here she was married on April 10, 1907, to Charles D. Snyder, who with their two children a girl and a boy survives her. After their marriage they lived for a time at Putwin, Kansas, living at Tawanda in that state. They had recently purchased a farm near Clearwater in the same state and would have established themselves her but for her illness. Her return to Nevada after protracted illness was in hope of restoration of health; but the hope was sadly disappointed. Mrs. Snyder was a young woman much admired by those tho knew her, and her early demise is a hard blow to husband, parents and family.
