Irene Deloris Goodmanson nee Clayberg, was born August 9, 1931 on her grandparents' farm north east of Story City and passed away Oct. 8, 1952 at Iowa City following an operation for a brain tumor at the age of 21 years, 1 month and 20 days. She was baptized and received her religious instruction and confirmation at the Immanuel Lutheran church. She graduated from the local high school in 1949. August 28, 1950 she was married to Duane Goodmanson and a son Larry Duane was born June 25, 1951.

She is survived by her husband, son and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clayberg; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Christian and Sandra Clayberg and three brothers, Russell, James and David.
