She enjoyed traveling with the family to both coasts, Canada and Mexico in their camper, and with Sherrill to the Bahamas, Hawaii, Alaska and Norway. She was proud of her heritage and enjoyed collecting Irish trinkets. Rachel always made people feel welcome in her home with a cup of hot coffee, homemade goodies and warm conversation.
