DIED.

In Howard township Mrs. Letty McStsy, October, 18th, 1882, aged 83 years, 7 months.

She came to Story county August 1855 with John James, his wife being her niece, and has since resided with them. Eight years ago she had one side paralyzed and has not been out of her room since. She was patient under her affliction. She was an acceptable member of the M. E. Church, for over 60 years. Her end was peace and joy.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The wife of John James was Eliza Jane McGee, daughter of Richard and Lydia McGee of Ireland. Unfortunately, this submitter has been unable to find Letty's marriage or Lydia's maiden name, so Letty could be a sister of Richard or Lydia McGee.
