From Nevada Representative October 25, 1882

DIED.

Al. Monighan who left here last April, died Friday in Silverton Col. He died of the mountain fever after a sickness of some thirty days. He was a resident of Nevada for about five years previous to going West, most of the time associated with Seth Humphry in the blacksmithing business. He worked at his trade whil in Silverton. He leaves a wife and two children who, except for the $2000 insurance with the United Workmen, would be in rather straitened circumstances. Mrs. M. was in Lake Center when the news of his death came. She has since returned to Nevada.
