Deacon Bartlett of Grinnell, brother-in-law of Uncle David Child of this place, died on Saturday last and was buried on Sunday. He was 77 years of age, and one of those rare old gentlemen whose good fortune it had been to live long enough to celebrate his golden wedding. His wife, sister of Mr. Child, still survives him.
