From Story County Watchman November 18, 1904

A. J. Peddicord was at Marsailes, Ill., over Sunday call by the funeral of a brother, T. J. who was burid on Sabbath last. Mr. Peddicord has been unfortunate during the last three months having lost three brother by the grim terror during that time. His many friends here abouts extend to him their sympathy in this his hour of trial.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "A. J. Peddicord" was Ami Jefferson Peddicord, son of Edward Sylvester Peddicord and Elizabeth (Johnson) Peddicord. He lost three brothers in 1904, to wit: Lewis E. Peddicord b. 14 October 1846 and d. 1904, William Dallas Peddicord b. 15 September 1844 and d. 28 October 1904, the above mentioned (although misidentified) deceased, Charles J. Peddicord b. 23 August 1853 and d. 11 November 1904 in Marseilles, LaSalle County, Illinois.
