McCallsburg.

Mrs. Will Whiteman attended the funeral of her sister, Mrs. James Louchs, which was held in Nevada Sunday. The deceased was a former resident of this place and her sudden and untimely death has saddened her many friends.

Cambridge, Jan. 4.--The wife of J. N. Lock, who lives near this place, died Thursday evening of heart disease after only two day's sickness. Mrs. Lock has been a sufferer from heart disease for some time. She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her loss. The funeral was held in Nevada Sunday.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Nettie Stewart married James Lock in McCallsburg, Story County, Iowa on 4 August 1893. She was the daughter of T. W. Lock and Mary (Fell) Lock and was born in Muddy, Illinois, according to her marriage record. Her death record states she died in Union Township, Story County, Iowa on 31 December 1903 and was buried in Nevada, Story County, Iowa.
