John Enfield died at W. C. Barger's Saturday afternoon. Uncle John has been failing for some time. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the Ontario cemetery.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to WPA Records, John C. Emfeield was born 11 May 1828 and died 2 January 1904. He was born in Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio, the son of John Emfield and Elizabeth (Tipton) Emfield.
