Mrs. W. H. Fitchpatrick died at her home in Ames Wednesday aged 82 years. Sarah V. Hagy was born in Washington county, Va., where she spent her early girlhood and was married to Mr. Fitchpatrick in the very house in which she was born on the 22d of Dec., 1836. She came to Iowa in 1854 since which time she has resided here. She was the mother of 9 children 5 of whom are living. The funeral will take place to-day.
