The remains of Homer Baskett, who lived in Ames while a boy and was well known here, were brought from Kansas City Monday morning. The body laid in state at the Christian church from 12 m. until 2 p. m. His only sister Nellie arrived at noon to attend the funeral which was held at 2 p. m. and the remains were interred in the Ames cemetery.
