DIED.--M. J. Smith, of sonsumption, at the home of his mother near New Carlisle, Indiana, June 24, 1895, aged thirty-two years.

M. J. Smith was born near New Carlisle, Indiana, where he resided until about five years ago, when he came to this city to make his home. About twelve years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Lou Wilson, this marriage was blessed by two children, Ward, nine years of age, whom God has left to comfort the wife and mother, and a daughter, Blanch, who died several years ago. Since residing in Nevada Mr. Smith had suffered almost continuously from ill health. When informed, about a week before his death, that he could live but a short time, it was his wish that he be removed to his old home, that he might once more see his mother, sisters and brothers, this wish was gratified. Mr. Smith had many ward friends in this vicinity, who deeply mourn his death. Peace he with him.
