DIED.--In Iowa Center, on Thursday morning the 20th inst., at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Redford. Lyman Partridge, aged 73 years. Mr. Partridge was a native of St. Lawrence county, N. Y., where he spent his earlier days. He came to Story county and settled upon a farm which he owned to this date since 1873, since which time he has made it his home. The funeral service was held Friday and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Iowa Center to await the call on the resurrection morn. He leaves three daughters and one son to mourn his taking off. Mr. Partridge was a man of integrity and all who had dealings with him knew well that all agreements would be faithfully carried out and as a consequence stood high in the esteem of all.
