From Story County Watchman July 15, 1892

The death of Dennis Drake living three miles south west of Zearing, Ia., occured July 7, 1892. Funeral at Zearing July 9th, from the Christian Church A. W. Harned officiating. Deceased was born in Carlisle, N. Y. April 22, 1820, came to Story County Iowa, in 1884. Died as above stated aged 72 years 2 mo., and 15 days.
