Word was received by Sam Statler the first of the week that Dr. W. W. Hamilton, of Centerville, Kansas, had just died in that city. It will be remembered that he was married to Mrs. Mary Stevens* in this city a few years since and she is now left to mourn over her bereavement. The sympathy of numerous friends here are extended to her in this hour of her affliction.

*The widow of Dr. Hamilton is Mary Melissa Withey who was first married to David Lytle Stephens and then married secondly, the late Dr. Hamilton on January 8, 1890.
