Josiah Ulum died at the home of his son, John, near Solon, Iowa, last Thursday, June 28th, 1892 at the age of 87 years and his funeral was attended the following day. He was a native of Virginia but Iowa has been his home for 55 years. For the past three or four years his home has been with his daughter, Mrs. A. Dunahugh, and he was well known to the people of Nevada.
