Mrs. Shields, mother of R. P. Shields died at the residence of Mrs. N. G. Cook* on Sunday.

SUBMITTERS NOTE: Mrs. N. G. Cook, whose maiden name was Abia Hale Shields, is the daughter of Jane (Patterson) Shields.
