From Story County Watchman June 8, 1888

Chas. Bobo died in this city at the residence of his mother on Saturday last. He has been ailing some time and the end was not unexpected. The Good Templars attended the funeral in full force thus showing their appreciation of his worth. Their resolution will be found elsewhere.

On the same page:

WHEREAS, our brother Charles Bobo has been called from our midst to join the Grand Lodge above, and whereas with deep and heart felt regret we part with our brother we offer the following Resolutions:

RESOLVED, That, in the loss of our brother New Hope Lodge No 140 I. O. G. T. has lost one of its earnest and true workers and:

RESOLVED, That, while our loss is our brothers eternal gain, yet we bow with sorrow to the great decress of the Omnipotent One and part with our brother with regret and:

RESOLVED, That, the Lodge extend their sympathy to the bereaved family, and recommend them to look to him for consolation, who alone giveth and taketh away and:

RESOLVED, That, our Lodge room be draped in mourning for 30 days and that a copy of these resolutions be spread on the Lodge Records and published in the County Papers of Nevada and a copy presented to the family.

J. A. JEFFRY,
O. B. INGALLS,
