Charles Christenson was born in Moscow, Da_e county, Wisconsin, Dec. 16, 1872. When he was one year old he moved with his parents to the state of Nebraska. At the age of five they moved to Story City where he lived until his death.
He was married May 13, 1889, to Bertha Severson. To this union were born three children: Millie Martina, who died in infancy, Mrs. Geo. McCoy and Mrs. Orvie Holland, both of Story City.
Besides these he is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Martha Christenson of Story City, two brothers, Henry and John of Minneapolis, two sisters, Mrs. Earl Boyd of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Joe Olson of Waukee, and four grandchildren.
The funeral was held Saturday in the St. Petri church, Rev. Andersen officiating. The pall bearers were Olaf Olson, P.A. Olson, Martin Jensen, John Ose, Knudt Toft and Ole Swenson.[Moscow, Wisconsin is in Iowa County.]
