Died from the effects of a close stroke of lightening, on last Friday, Mrs. Henry Holmes near Collins. Mrs. Holmes has been in delicate health for a number of years, and recently she in an instant became totally blind. The funeral obsequies were held at the Peoria cemetery on Sunday.
