Susie Christenson Died After Long Illness
Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Christenson, 55, longtime resident of Story City, who died here early Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George McCoy were held Wednesday at 1:30 from the McCoy home and at 2 o’clock from the St. Petri Lutheran church. Rev. W. B. Searvie officiated, and burial was made in the Story City cemetery.
Mrs. Christenson was born in Stanhope and came to Story City after her marriage to Charles Christenson. She had been ill for the past seven years, three and a half of which she been an invalid. She had made her home with her daughter for five years. Her death was due to a stroke. Mr. Christenson died about ten years ago.
Surviving are the two daughters, Mrs. McCoy and Mrs. Orvie Holland also of story city.
