OBITUARY

CAPT. HENRY WILSON

Captain Henry Wilson of Ames, late cashier of the Union National Bank and in former years clerk of courts for Story county and editor of the Ames Intelligencer, died at his home there at one-thirty this morning. He had a stroke of paralysis nearly two years ago and had since been a confirmed invalid. Recently his condition had been declining, and his death is hardly a surprise to his numerous friends. He was past 74 years of age and had been a resident of Ames since the early days of that town. He was a man of marked ability and character and he will be the subject of more extended notice in our next issue. His funeral will be conducted from his late residence next Monday afternoon at four o'clock.
