Orville Cook Of Nevada Is Dead At Des Moines

NEVADA - Funeral services for Orville Cook, 48, who died at the United States Veterans hospital in Des Moines early Wednesday morning, will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. in the Nevada Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be in the family lot in Johnson Grove cemetery.

Mr. Cook, Nevada World war veteran, was for many years engaged as an automobile mechanic in Nevada. He had been in failing health for some time and was taken to the veterans' hospital this spring.

He is survived by a son, Donald, of Des Moines, a brother Frank of near Zearing and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith of Ames, Mrs. Emma Handsaker of Nevada, and Mrs. Vernie Shaffer of near Colo.
