Mrs. I. J. Baird Dies In California

Word has been received here of the death Sunday of Mrs. I. J. Baird, 60, at her home in Pomona, Cal. Mrs. Baird, resident of Ames for many years prior to moving to California 23 years ago, suffered a stroke of apoplexy in August.

While in Ames Mr. and Mrs. Baird and children resided at Thirteenth street and Grand avenue. Mr. Baird and two children survive.

Funeral services were held in Pomona and interment was in the family lot there.
