John Lounsberry, Long Time County Resident, Is Dead

COLO - John D. Lounsberry Sr., 82, died at Colo Tuesday night from complications of old age.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon with a prayer service at the home at 1:30 p. m. followed by the funeral at the Methodist Episcopal church in Colo at 2 p. m. Burial will be in the Colo cemetery.

Mr. Lounsberry was long a prominent farmer and stockman in this part of the country. He had lived in Story county for 61 years.

Three sons survive Mr. Lounsberry, Lloyd and John D. of Colo, and Horace of near McCallsburg.
