Mrs. Ellen Hagen, 89, 321 Ninth St., died about midnight last night at Mary Greeley Hospital where she had been a patient since Tuesday.

Born in Bergan, Norway, she came to Ames at the age of 24. She and Anton O. Hagen were married July 16, 1900 at Cambridge. He preceded her in death in 1944.

She also was preceded in death by four sons, Elmer, Jeffrey, Annas and Lester, all of Ames.

Survivors include two daughters, Anna and Agnes, both of Ames; a son Martin, Ames; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Adams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roland Cemetery.
